Job summary

Wolfgang Puck Catering is looking for a reliable Catering Attendant to deliver and serve food at various events in San Francisco. You will be responsible for setting up buffet tables, ensuring food safety, and providing excellent service to guests.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of fine dining food service experience and a valid driver’s license. This full-time position requires event availability, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Position Details

• Title: Catering Attendant
• Location: JPMorgan Chase – 560 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94105
• Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM; event availability required.
• Pay: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour

Job Summary

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures accurate execution of all events during the shift, including setup and cleanup, and may drive a catering delivery truck.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
• Log and maintain food temperatures.
• Arrange tables and decorations.
• Set up buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Clean venue location thoroughly after each event.
• Return food, beverages, and serving equipment to the catering facility.
• Collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
• Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
• Provide friendly, courteous service to guests at all times.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu and products available.
• Upkeep a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of fine dining food service experience.
• Valid driver’s license may be required; must possess or be able to obtain a food handler’s permit and/or alcohol server’s permit where state law requires.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
