Job summary

Gourmet Dining & Chartwells Higher Education, at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ, is hiring for full-time and part-time Catering Attendant roles. Training is provided. Prior catering experience is preferred and a valid driver's license/food handler permit may be required.

Pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.50 per hour with varied shifts. Responsibilities include delivering and serving food at functions, setting up venues, maintaining safety, and ensuring excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Prior catering experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required; must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision.
• Sets up and serves at functions; cleans event area during and after events; returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand.
• Ensures guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
