Role Description

The Catering Attendant is a full-time, on-site role based in Cleveland, OH. This role is responsible for setting up, serving, and breaking down catered events, ensuring food and beverage items are presented professionally and stocked throughout service. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with basic food preparation, maintaining clean and organized service areas, replenishing supplies, and following food safety and sanitation guidelines. The Catering Attendant interacts with guests, responds to requests, and helps deliver a positive dining experience that aligns with Eurest's service standards. The role may also support other food service operations as needed, including event logistics and coordination with kitchen and service teams.

Qualifications

• Food preparation and food & beverage skills, with the ability to assist in basic production and presentation.
• Food service and customer service skills, including serving guests, managing buffets, and responding to event needs.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in a commercial or corporate dining environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry catering equipment and supplies, and work in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills, with a professional and reliable work approach.
• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or corporate food service is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial; willingness to complete required company and safety training.
