Job summary

The Press Club Grill is seeking a Catering and Special Event Associate to oversee catering and special events. You will manage offsite and on-site events, coordinate with clients, venue staff, and promote services on social media.

You will plan and execute events, handle guest communication, and develop promotional ideas for holidays and special occasions, including taco trailer days and fundraisers.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or events planning.
• Strong communication and client coordination skills.
• Ability to promote services on social media and in marketing materials.
• Willingness to visit offsite locations and work on weekends/events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee catering and special events operations.
• Offsite events: plan, coordinate, and execute from start to finish.
• Deliver to offsite locations and set up.
• Serve at offsite events and coordinate needed assistance.
• On-site events: plan, coordinate, and oversee with the GM.
• Solicit businesses, individuals and past clients for future events.
• Promote retirement parties to Fire and Police departments.
• Promote teach parties to schools.
• Promote events on social media; take photos.
• Direct message guests announcing weddings or events.
• Promote 2nd floor patio, front patio, and buyouts.
• Coordinate Taco trailer for golf events.
• Visit dispensaries to set up taco trailer days.
• Develop promos during holidays e.g. Labor Day party pack.
• Promote on social media.

Promote on Social Media

• Take pictures of each event
• Direct message guests who announce weddings, special events, etc.

Special Events

• At Eastern, promote the 2nd floor patio, front patio, restaurant buyouts, etc.
• Coordinate Taco trailer for Golf events, etc.
• Visit dispensaries, set up taco trailer days, etc.

Develop promo’s during holidays

• For example, Labor Day do a party pack and get a free chips and salsa platter
• Promote on social media
