Job summary

System One in Lakewood, Colorado (Hybrid) or Remote is seeking an experienced Category Manager - IT to lead strategic IT procurement activities. The role focuses on developing sourcing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and driving cross‑functional collaboration to achieve savings and risk mitigation.

Requirements include a BS or equivalent (Master’s preferred), 8+ years in IT procurement within a multinational company, and proven RFx/supplier management experience managing indirect IT

Job Title: Category Manager - Information Technology (IT)

Location: Lakewood, Colorado (Hybrid) or Remote

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $110,500.00 to $138,200.00

Shift/Schedule: working MST, 9-5

Requirements

• BS or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in relevant IT procurement/sourcing category management in a large, multinational company.
• Experience successfully managing and supporting similar scope and breadth of IT spend (46 million).
• Demonstrated sourcing experience leading RFx’s, conducting supplier management activities, and managing sourcing categories for indirect spending.
