Shape the Future of Procurement at Azuria Water Solutions

Azuria Water Solutions is seeking an experienced Category Manager to join our growing Supply Chain organization at our Corporate Headquarters in Tampa, Florida.

If you're a strategic sourcing professional who thrives on building supplier partnerships, negotiating complex agreements, reducing costs, and driving continuous improvement, this is an opportunity to make a measurable impact across a growing, industry-leading organization.

At Azuria, you'll work alongside Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Fleet leaders to develop sourcing strategies that support critical infrastructure projects throughout North America.

About Azuria Water Solutions

Azuria and its family of companies protect and rehabilitate the world's aging infrastructure. Our businesses specialize in sewer, drinking water, energy, mining pipeline rehabilitation, and corrosion protection for bridges, tunnels, buildings, waterfront structures, and other critical infrastructure.

Our innovative technologies help customers solve operational, environmental, regulatory, and infrastructure challenges while extending the life of essential assets.

What You'll Do

As a Category Manager, you'll report directly to the Director of Procurement and serve as a key member of our Supply Chain team. You'll own strategic sourcing initiatives, lead supplier negotiations, and develop category strategies that drive operational excellence and long-term value.

This position will primarily be responsible for Fleet, Rental Equipment, and CAPEX procurement categories, including developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and identifying opportunities to reduce total cost while improving service, quality, and supplier performance.

You'll become the subject matter expert for your assigned categories and serve as the primary business partner for internal stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute category strategies that align with company objectives and deliver measurable business value.
  • Manage strategic sourcing activities for Fleet, Rental Equipment, and CAPEX categories, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Manufacturing, Engineering, Fleet, and other business leaders to identify sourcing opportunities and procurement improvements.
  • Analyze spend data, market trends, supplier performance, and industry intelligence to identify cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Lead the complete RFP process, including stakeholder requirements gathering, supplier qualification, bid analysis, contract development, negotiations, and implementation.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for capital equipment purchases, rental equipment, fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, maintenance services, and related operational spend.
  • Own supplier relationships, facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and drive continuous supplier performance improvements.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing structures, warranty programs, and lifecycle costs to maximize value and minimize total cost of ownership.
  • Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Develop cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality, delivery performance, and service expectations.
  • Present sourcing recommendations, supplier performance metrics, and category strategies to leadership.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain experience.
  • Experience developing and executing category strategies across direct and/or indirect spend categories.
  • Experience managing Fleet, Rental Equipment, and/or CAPEX procurement categories, including supplier negotiations, sourcing strategies, and lifecycle cost management.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven history of achieving favorable supplier agreements.
  • Demonstrated success building strategic supplier relationships and managing supplier performance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and translate findings into actionable business decisions.
  • Experience working with ERP and procurement systems such as SAP, JD Edwards (JDE), Coupa, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel domestically approximately 20%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or professional certifications such as CPSM, CPIM, or CSCP.
  • Experience supporting Fleet procurement, Rental Equipment, Heavy Equipment, Vehicles, Maintenance Services, and CAPEX categories.
  • Experience sourcing construction equipment, heavy machinery, rental agreements, or capital assets within manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, industrial services, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis with the ability to connect procurement decisions to overall business performance, including total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI) for capital purchases.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with procurement analytics and reporting.

At Azuria, your work directly supports the rehabilitation and protection of critical infrastructure across North America. We invest in our employees by offering opportunities to lead strategic initiatives, collaborate across the business, and grow professionally.
