Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Category Manager to drive procurement initiatives across North America. You will develop and execute category strategies across multiple spend areas, including direct materials and services, collaborating with operations, engineering, and finance.

Based 100% on-site at our Mesquite, Texas Service Center (or Milan, TN or Paramus, NJ offices), you will lead supplier sourcing activities, negotiations, and risk management, leveraging data analytics and AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of procurement, category management, or related experience in manufacturing.
• Experience developing sourcing strategies and managing supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead supplier sourcing activities, including qualification, RFx, proposals, negotiations, and implementation.
• Manage supplier relationships, business reviews, and performance improvement initiatives.
