Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Washington state seeks a procurement professional to optimize facilities spend and drive supplier performance. You will lead category strategy, negotiate with suppliers, and collaborate across engineering and facilities to meet cost and delivery targets.

The role requires 3–5 years in procurement, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and familiarity with SAP/Oracle MRP systems. A BS/MS in a related field is preferred, with emphasis on cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement, especially Facilities.
  • Experience with SAP or Oracle as MRP system preferred.
  • Strong analytical/negotiation skills and supplier management experience.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint; IT skills aligned with procurement tools.

Responsibilities

  • Understand internal stakeholders' needs for current and future spend in the category.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define category strategy and leverage spend across functions.
  • Coordinate with global engineering, facilities and other teams to ensure on-time delivery, cost targets and inventory.
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships, metrics and performance deliverables.
  • Provide market intelligence to inform strategy and negotiations.
  • Lead supplier negotiations including RFP/RFQ, contracts and long-term strategic deals.
  • Identify supply risks and propose solutions with suppliers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will contribute to the Procurement organization by applying strong analytical skills, a structured approach to category management, and market knowledge to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve supplier performance, and optimize spend within the Facilities category.

Job Duties
  • Understanding needs and requirements of internal stakeholders on current and future spend for a given category/categories
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to define and develop category strategy, and approach to leveraging spend across the functional organizations
  • Coordinating with global engineering, facilities and other functional organizations to ensure on time delivery, cost expectations and inventory targets
  • Developing and managing supplier relationships, metrics and performance
  • Providing market intelligence
  • Leading supplier negotiations including RFP/RFQ processes, contract management, and long-term strategic negotiations to obtain maximum value proposition and meeting savings targets
  • Recognizing and understanding supply risk to the organization, work with suppliers and internal stakeholder to resolve or suggest alternative solutions
Requirements
  • BS/MS degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Industrial Engineering
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience within a procurement function (primary needs are currently in the Facilities space)
  • Technical background a plus
  • Familiarity with Service Agreements, SOWs and other general legal terms
  • Strong analytical/negotiation skills and proven track record in Supplier Management and negotiations
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills with ability to handle multiple tasks at once and switch between strategic and detail-oriented thinking
  • Flexibility to adapt to dynamic and rapidly changing environments
  • Effective Communicator with the ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships internally including cross functional and cross site collaboration
  • Commitment to learn and develop new skills
  • Understanding of cost modeling and business financial acumen preferred
  • Experience with SAP or Oracle as MRP system preferred
  • Strong IT skills. High Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Experience in the Semiconductor industry is a plus

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $95,600 to $131,450.

  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors
  • This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
  • Benefits for the position includes 10 paid holidays per year, paid vacation starting at 136 hours per year for full-time employees (prorated for part-time employees), and paid sick time that exceeds the requirements of the Washington State Sick Leave law.
