Job summary

Envision is seeking a Category Analyst for an office-based role in Irving, TX. You will translate shopper and category insights into actionable retail strategies and support space planning and merchandising initiatives.

This role collaborates with sales, marketing, and category teams, analyzes data from NielsenIQ, IRI, Numerator, and planograms, and helps optimize shelf space and assortments for major retailers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Category Management, Category Analysis, Retail Analytics, Merchandising, or Space Planning.
• Experience with JDA, Blue Yonder, Apollo, or Spaceman.
• Familiarity with syndicated data such as Nielsen, NielsenIQ, IRI/Circana, demographic data, and panel data.
• Experience with digital category management tools such as Numerator.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to synthesize multiple data sources and convert insights into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support category management and retail space planning initiatives.
• Analyze shopper, consumer, category, product, and demographic data.
• Develop recommendations that drive category growth and improve retail performance.
• Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, category management, and other teams.
• Support planograms, assortment planning, shelf-space optimization, and merchandising strategies.
• Manage projects and communicate insights/recommendations to stakeholders.
• Potentially interact directly with retail customers.
