Pentair is hiring a Category Finance Manager, F&B to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will partner with Food & Beverage leaders, lead full P&L analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and communicate profitability drivers across Pentair to drive strategic initiatives and growth. This role offers advancement within a global manufacturing environment.

You will mentor the finance team, standardize processes, and interact with senior leadership to translate numbers into actionable business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's (B.A. or B.S.) in finance or accounting.
• 7+ years of progressive financial experience partnering with business leaders in manufacturing.
• Experience with project accounting.
• Leadership experience managing finance/accounting professionals; dispersed teams a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present to all levels including C-suite.
• Advanced Excel; Power BI plus.
• Experience with OneStream or Hyperion; ERP systems such as SAP.
• Up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Be a strategic business parter who assists with strategy development and execution, including profitable growth initiatives, portfolio management, pricing analysis, long-term capital investment plans, new product development, and more.
• Analyze and drive month, quarter, and year-end product category financials.
• Lead quarterly forecasts and annual plans ensuring alignment with cross functional team to achieve and surpass budget goals each month.
• Partner with the controlling team to ensure the accuracy of the monthly results.
• Analyze significant variances from planned and forecasted results, present findings concisely, and provide recommendations to management for continuous improvement.
• Guide the finance team to standardize and improve key processes and reporting and provide exceptional support to respective business partners.

We have an opportunity for a Category Finance Manager, F&B to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will partner with the Food & Beverage business leaders at the site and across our category support the achievement of the product category strategic initiatives and financial goals. You will also lead the financial processes for full P&L and balance sheet business analysis, forecasting, and budgeting and will utilize a deep understanding of the economics and profitability drivers across Pentair for critical products/clients to clearly communicate them to the team. You Will

Key Qualifications

• Have earned a bachelor's (B.A. or B.S.) degree, preferably in finance or accounting.
• Have 7+ years of progressive financial experience, which will include experience partnering with business leaders in a manufacturing organization.
• Experience supporting and/or knowledge of project accounting.
• Strong people leadership ability and/or experience managing or leading finance and/or accounting professionals. Experience leading geographically dispersed teams a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to all levels of an organization, including C-suite, and translate numbers into a clear narrative.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities required. Experience with Power BI a plus.
• Experience with financial management software, such as OneStream or Hyperion, a plus.
• Experience utilizing an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, such as SAP, a plus.
• Up to 10% of travel for team and/or business meetings.

Compensation

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $95500 - $177300 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus and/or long-term incentives.
