Qualifications
5+ years of catastrophe modeling experience or risk management.
Expertise with third-party catastrophe models (RMS, AIR, etc.).
Knowledge of natural weather perils necessary.
Strong technical skills and ability to engage stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Own Steadily's catastrophe modeling cycle; deliver monthly high-fidelity loss estimates.
Detect and manage accumulation risk and identify geographic hot spots.
Lead during live CAT events and produce rapid loss assessments.
Shape reinsurance strategy and partner with Actuarial team.
Integrate climate intelligence into risk framework.
Continuously elevate pricing sophistication with analytics.
