A leading insurance technology company in Overland Park seeks a Senior Catastrophe Modeler to oversee catastrophe modeling and manage risk effectively. Candidates should possess over 5 years of experience in catastrophe modeling, strong analytical, and communication skills. Qualifications

• 5+ years of catastrophe modeling experience or risk management.
• Expertise with third-party catastrophe models (RMS, AIR, etc.).
• Knowledge of natural weather perils necessary.
• Strong technical skills and ability to engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own Steadily's catastrophe modeling cycle; deliver monthly high-fidelity loss estimates.
• Detect and manage accumulation risk and identify geographic hot spots.
• Lead during live CAT events and produce rapid loss assessments.
• Shape reinsurance strategy and partner with Actuarial team.
• Integrate climate intelligence into risk framework.
• Continuously elevate pricing sophistication with analytics.
