Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse responsible for delivering individualized nursing care to adults undergoing cardiac catheterization and related radiology procedures, including prep and recovery.

The ideal candidate will hold an RN license from the Tennessee Board of Nursing (or compact state), BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 6 months, and at least two years of acute care nursing with experience in cath labs.

Qualifications

RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
BLS from the American Heart Association required within 30 days of start
ACLS required within 6 months of start date
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with 1 of those years in critical care nursing (ICU, ER, Cath lab)
30 minute response time for call required

Responsibilities

Deliver individualized nursing care to adult patients having cardiac catheterization procedures as well as care for patients having specialized radiology procedures.
Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
Record patients' medical information and vital signs and any other patient care.
Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.
