Job Overview

This position is responsible for performing medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures. Utilizes computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross‑section images of patients internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. Accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• New York State license
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
• IV Contrast Certification within 3 months of employment (for some positions)
• Advanced Certification in Computerized Tomography
