We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Cat Scan Technologist/IV Cert, Manhattan - Cancer Center. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures, utilizing computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross‑section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnosis. The candidate will accurately interpret physicians' scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position patients to capture appropriate images.
High School Diploma or GED; accredited School of Radiologic Technology; New York State license; Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Basic Life Support Certification (BLS); IV Contrast Certification within 3 months of employment.
Radiologic Technology License – NYS; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Minimum two years experience in CT.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
