Job summary

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA is seeking a Part-time Cat Scan Technologist for night shift (Fridays and Saturdays 11p–7a, every other weekend) per department needs.

You will perform CT scans with x-ray and computer systems, uphold patient safety, and collaborate with the radiology team. Required: AMA-approved Radiology program, ARRT registration, CT certification within 1 year, High School diploma, and BLS.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiology program completed.
• ARRT registration achieved or in progress.
• CT certification due within 1 year of hire.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scan examinations using x-ray and computer systems.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Ensure proper equipment preparation and documentation for each exam.

Position Purpose

Performs CT scan examinations on patients utilizing specialized x-ray and computer systems. The purpose is delivery of quality care commensurate with the age of the patient population for the said designated area.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful graduate from an AMA approved Radiology program required.
• Registered by ARRT required, CT certification required within 1 year of hire into position
• BLS required.
