Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE is seeking a CT Scan Tech to perform all CT procedures and support radiology exams. You will work with the radiology team, use the EMR and PACS systems, and participate in after-hours on-call coverage.

Responsibilities include maintaining image quality, assisting radiologists in procedures, and adapting to department needs while upholding patient care standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required.
• Delaware license in Radiology Technology required.
• BLS required.

Job Title: Cat Scan Tech

Employment Type: Full-time

Shift: 36hrs/wk, 12hr day shift. Weekend and holiday requirements. Per Department needs.
Location: Saint Francis Hospital - Wilmington, DE

Position Purpose

The technologist is responsible for performing all CAT Scan procedures including those utilizing oral and/or injected contrast agents. The technologist assists the radiologist with interventional procedures including biopsy and drainage procedures. The technologist must show independent judgment when performing procedures and when addressing difficult or unusual situations. The technologist is responsible for evaluating images for technical quality. The technologist must also be able to perform Diagnostic radiology exams.

• Perform Diagnostic Radiology exams needed
• Utilize the hospital EMR with accuracy
• Utilize the Radiology PACS system
• Accept additional assignments and tasks
• Provide CT coverage after hours participating in “ON-CALL” rotation as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT with CT certification required
• Delaware license in Radiology Technology required.
• BLS required.
