Job summary

Saint Joseph's Medical Center is seeking a per diem CT Scan Tech to perform CT imaging, including cardiac scans and post-processing. The role involves collaborating with radiologists on interventional procedures, maintaining ALARA, and upholding all CT protocols and patient care standards.

Requirements include 1 year of experience as a licensed radiographer, NYS Radiology License, and ARRT RT;CT certification. A Graduate of an approved radiology program is also required.

Qualifications

• NYS Radiology License.

• 1 year experience as a licensed radiographer.
• 1 year preferred knowledge of cross sectional anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Performs all types of CT imaging, including cardiac and post-processing.
• Works with radiologists on interventional procedures.
• Adheres to ALARA and ensures excellent patient care and safety.
• Follows all CT scan protocols as set forth by radiologists.

Works with the radiologists on all special procedure interventional procedures, adhere to patient excellent patient care and ALARA at all times. Follows all procedures and policies as it relates to ALL ct scan protocol set forth by radiologists.
