Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent from an accredited veterinary school.
• Active California veterinary license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in learning dentistry and surgery or already skilled in these areas.
• Ability to safely handle animals and perform examinations and procedures, including lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide cat-only general practice care in a collaborative, low-stress environment.
• Perform dentistry and soft tissue surgery as part of the team.
• Consult with colleagues to develop treatment plans and ensure patient comfort.
• Educate and communicate with cat owners about care, prognosis, and procedures.
• Mentor and be mentored in surgery and dentistry within a supportive team.
