Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Center in West Virginia is seeking a Casual Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Respiratory Department. The RT performs standard and advanced respiratory therapies, assesses patients, and communicates findings to the physician.

Education and experience: RRT credential preferred, NBRC exam completed, Bachelor's degree preferred; prior staff therapist experience is desirable; BLS required.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• RRT credential preferred; NBRC exam completed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy strongly preferred.
• Previous work experience as staff therapist is desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and advanced respiratory therapy techniques as prescribed.
• Treat, diagnose, evaluate therapy, and make recommendations to physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians and the respiratory team to optimize patient care.
