Job summary

Allina Health EMS is seeking a Paramedic to respond to 911 calls and provide on-scene patient care in a hospital-based EMS setting. This casual role supports day/evening/night shifts with occasional weekends and on-call duties.

The position requires EMT/paramedic certification, ACLS/BLS, and a valid driver's license. Pay reflects base hourly rate with possible shift differentials. Equity and wellness benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree within 24 months from date of hire.
• 4 years working in 911 environment, degree requirement waived.
• For paramedic in good standing who separates from the organization and returns within 12 months, degree requirement waived.
• Passing of Fitness for Duty testing.

Responsibilities

• Provides life support patient care in a pre-hospital setting.
• Responds to 911 calls.
• Directs care plan on scene and documents reports.
• Obtains and secures Class A narcotics.
• Transports from scene or facility.
• Maintains vehicle and equipment per policy.
