Job summary

Labcorp in Renton, WA is seeking a casual Float Phlebotomist/PRN to join our team. Flexible schedule, travel to additional sites as needed, and opportunities to provide excellent patient service while performing blood collections and specimen processing.

You will collect specimens via venipuncture and capillary methods, enter data accurately, handle billing when required, and support lab operations. Washington phlebotomy license is required, with 6+ months of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington-issued Phlebotomy License.
• 6+ months of phlebotomy experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 or more months of phlebotomy experience
• 6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Be at least 21 years of age or older

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM

PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

Pay Range: $22.30 - $27.69 per hour

Float Incentive: Additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
