Job summary

Felician Sisters of North America in Chicago, IL are seeking unscheduled casual RNs or LPNs to support elder Franciscan sisters in a convent home care setting, afternoons 2:00 pm–10:30 pm.

The role emphasizes compassionate, person-centered care, medication administration, charting, and supervising nursing aides, with competitive pay ($28.10–$58.06 per hour) and a robust benefits package including PTO, holidays, referral bonuses, and more.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse where the convent home is located.
• Current license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct care of elder Franciscan sisters.
• Assist in overseeing Nurse Aides to ensure high quality care and support.
• Distribute medication, maintain narcotic records and resident charts, and perform charting duties.
• Support a warm convent environment and teamwork across departments.
