Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood invites a Sous Chef to assist with food preparation in assigned kitchen outlets under the direction of the Sous Chef. You will ensure quality portions and maintain sanitation as per health codes.

The role requires adherence to tribal policies, strong teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Benefits and opportunities are provided by the employer, with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• A culinary apprenticeship, an A.O.S. degree from a culinary institution or an equivalent with some industry experience is preferred.

• Maintains a clean and sanitary work area in line with health codes.
• Serves guests according to established standards and portions.
• Ensures all food preparation and service areas meet health department codes.
• Follows department standards and procedures.

Job Description:

Under the direction of the Sous Chef, the incumbent assists with preparation of foods in assigned kitchen outlets.

• Assures that the working area is clean and sanitary in accordance with local and state health department codes.

• Serves all guests according to established standards of quality and in pre-determined portions.

• Assures that all food preparation and service areas are in accordance with the local, state and Federal health department codes.

• Follows department Standards and Procedures.

• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.

• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.

• Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
