Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Casting Technician for 1.0 FTE day shift, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, onsite at East Madison Hospital. You will work with an orthopedic team and learn from Casting Technicians and Orthopedic Providers.

Responsibilities include applying and removing casts, braces, and splints; performing suture removal and minor wound care; and promoting healthy lifestyles through patient education. No minimum education required; coursework related to casting is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Casting Technician or related roles (Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Orthopedic Surgical Technician) is required.

Work Experience
  • Prior experience as a Casting Technician, Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Orthopedic Surgical Technician and other related profession Required
Licenses & Certifications
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire Required
