Job summary

KSM Castings USA, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and robotic systems on conventional and automatic casting machines and CNC equipment in a production environment.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, electrical installations, and the ability to modify and extend plant machinery while adhering to safety regulations. A technical background in engineering or machining is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training (2 years) or BS degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Diverse specialist training courses in Machining Technology.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical or electronic systems of casting machines, robots and CNC equipment in production.
• Develops and carries out preventative maintenance and repairs independently on plant equipment.
• Performs electrical installations such as connections, lighting fixtures and sockets.
• Independently modifies and extends plant machinery and draws up switching plans for documentation.
• Inspects installations per applicable regulations at inspection intervals.
• Procures spare parts and manages inventory considerations.
• Identifies environmental aspects and supports EMP goals through training and communication.
