Astemo Rock Spring, Inc. is seeking a Gate Cut Operator in casting to support aluminum knuckle production. You will operate gate cut equipment on multiple lines, stay compliant with COP, and participate in cross-training after initial training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing priorities and responsibilities.
• Proficiency in safety regulations, quality control processes specific to the Casting department.

Responsibilities

• Operate gate cut equipment for multiple production lines and maintain COP.
• Cross-trained in more than one step of the process after training.
• Use tools such as file, air sander, air chisel, air blow wand, broom, dustpan and squeegee.
• Maintain production quantities and quality; check products and parts for production needs.
• Collaborate with Casting Supervisor to prioritize maintenance and production schedules.
