Job summary

Steel Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a Metallurgy professional to join the casting team, focusing on safety, quality, and productivity improvements across the production process.

You will coordinate metallurgy activities with metallurgists, engineers, and shift supervisors, provide technical support to operators, perform statistical analysis of processes and feedback, and drive continuous product and process improvements while evaluating new technologies and coordinating ISO/IATF activities.

Qualifications

• BS degree in metallurgy, material science or related engineering field.
• Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work without supervision.
