Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a manufacturing assembler to perform step-by-step assembly tasks on product lines in a manufacturing setting. The role requires reading work instructions, handling lead pots and molding equipment, and ensuring mold changes are completed accurately.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and a valid forklift license. The position may involve bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and working nights, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to do basic math.
• Ability to read, write, and understand the local language.
• Possess a valid forklift license.
• Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform work instructions to complete product assembly.
• Prepare lead pots or small parts casting machine.
• Dross pots.
• Make mold changes.
• Perform necessary cleaning of grids or parts.
• Clean out mold or prepare mold coat and spray up mold.
• Inspect parts, molds, grids, and equipment for defects or malfunctions.
