Job summary

Town Pump Inc. is seeking a motivated and outgoing candidate for a Casino Manager In Training position at Montana’s Best Casinos. You will train with the Casino Manager to learn all casino operations, while upholding Town Pump standards and ensuring guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes professionalism, teamwork, and reliable daily bookkeeping. Training includes handling deposits, scheduling, security, repairs, and staff development in a fast-paced gaming environment in Montana.

Responsibilities

• Train with the Casino Manager and learn the overall operation of the casino, areas trained include customer service, supervisory decisions, controllable expenses, sales increases, inside gross margin, shortage controls, and promotions programs.
• Set the proper example for co-workers regarding professionalism, attitude, and teamwork.
• Provide exceptional customer service, resolve complaints and inquiries, make bank deposits, fill in for absent employees, answer and screen telephone calls.
• Complete daily bookwork using the computer to record employee information, inventory, and sale information.
• Prioritize, organize, delegate, and follow up on casino tasks; maintain security of assets; control cash, inventories, merchandise and labor hours.
• Assist with new employee hiring, orientation, and training; make supervisory decisions consistent with Town Pump standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain and/or perform basic repairs of gaming machines and bar equipment; audit machines; coordinate with Corporate on promotions; ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
• Take inventory of merchandise, enter invoices, discipline and/or terminate problem employees, and perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

As a Casino Manager In Training, You Will

• maintain and/or perform basic repairs of gaming machines and bar equipment, audit gaming machines, coordinate with the Corporate Office on casino promotions, and ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
• take inventory of merchandise, complete proper entry of merchandise invoices, and discipline and/or terminate problem employees, and complete any other duties that are assigned by supervisor.
