Job summary

A leading entertainment firm is seeking an Engineer III to perform general maintenance and repairs at River City Casino & Hotel. The ideal candidate must have experience in plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and electrical work. The position offers a starting pay of $20 per hour, day-one medical benefits, and opportunities for career growth. Shift options include evenings and overnight hours.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in maintenance fields (Plumbing, HVAC, Carpentry, Electrical or Kitchen Equipment).
• Knowledge of methods and practices used in preventative maintenance and repair work.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and support functions.
• Execute work assignments and complete work orders as directed.
• Notify Supervisor of needs for major repairs.

Skills

Knowledge of preventative maintenance

Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm or 10:00pm - 6:30am

Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• The Engineer III performs journeyman to advanced level general maintenance, repairs, and support functions in the areas of general maintenance, plumbing, kitchen & refrigeration equipment, carpentry, HVAC and electrical devices.
• Receives work assignments via HotSOS, executes assignments and completes work orders as directed.
• Notifies Maintenance Supervisor or Manager concerning needs of major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, cooling, plumbing and equipment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent plus three (2) years’ experience in one of the required related maintenance fields (Plumbing, HVAC, Carpentry, Electrical or Kitchen Equipment).
• Must have knowledge of methods and practices used in preventative maintenance and repair work.
• Knowledge of Building management systems.
• Interpret electrical wiring diagrams/drawings.
• Read blueprints.
