Job summary

Landry's Golden Nugget Casino in Lake Charles, LA seeks an Assistant Director of Finance to lead finance and accounting activities under the Chief Financial Officer. You will oversee Financial Accounting, Revenue Audit, Purchasing, Payroll, and Cage operations while driving accurate monthly reporting.

The role requires a CPA or advanced degree preferred, with at least five years in casino finance, and strong leadership and communication skills for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Five (5) years of accounting/financial management experience in the casino industry is required.
• Advanced degree and/or CPA strongly preferred.
• Must have solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and Golden Nugget policies.
• Deliver professional guest service in all interactions with guests and vendors.
• Develop and implement financial strategy with VP of Finance for growth.
• Prepare detailed monthly financial reports and forecasts based on operations.
• Ensure integrity and quality of financial data produced by the department.
