Job summary

Pechanga Resort Casino seeks an EVS Utility Crew member to keep the casino clean, including areas unreachable by regular EVS staff, using ladders or platforms up to three steps high. This role maintains carpets, chairs, and card tables, and uses pressure washers as needed.

Responsibilities include cleaning carpets, stocking supplies, checking equipment, maintaining ventilation, and ensuring clean glass and flooring throughout the casino. Lifting up to 75 lbs and night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or GED; 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos; effective written and verbal communication.
• Basic math skills for money, weight, volume measurements.
• Reasoning ability to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Must qualify to obtain and maintain a Class ‘B’ gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Clean and shampoo all carpets.
• Check all machines to ensure proper operation.
• Stock all incoming supplies.
• Maintain all air vents for proper airflow.
• Maintain flooring, carpet, and hard surfaces.
• Cover and maintain gaming tables and rails.
• Wipe down and clean high areas inaccessible to other EVS staff.
• Clean glass in areas other EVS staff cannot reach.
• Vacuum areas inaccessible to other EVS staff.
• Some bending, stooping, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Respond to problem calls and other duties as assigned.
