Job summary

The Post Oak in Las Vegas seeks a seasoned Casino Controller to oversee all casino accounting functions and the Count Room, ensuring accuracy for daily reports and regulatory compliance. You will lead the accounting team, coordinate audits, and manage year-end filings in a fast-paced gaming environment.

Ideal candidates bring 5-10 years of casino accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with regulators. NV gaming registration and a bachelor’s degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or related field.
• 5-10 years progressive experience in casino accounting.
• Ability to manage employees, training and coaching teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational and prioritization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Casino Audit in the daily operations and report numbers for daily operating report.
• Manage month-end closing of casino accounting records.
• Review supporting documentation for balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare monthly gaming tax returns; quarterly and annual licenses.
• Respond to questions from Nevada Gaming Control Board and other regulatory bodies.
• Review and sign checks as requested.
• Participate in annual budgeting process.
• Prepare end-of-year filings including W-2G’s and 1042’s.
• Perform other duties as required.
