Bally's Shreveport Casino & Hotel in Shreveport, LA is seeking a cashier to maintain and protect a large bankroll, handle exchanges, and assist customers in a fast-paced casino environment.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and basic arithmetic, reading, and writing abilities. The role involves working in a smoking environment with loud surroundings and shift work; compensation starts at $14.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required, or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and protect bankroll up to $200,000.
• Serve external and internal customers.
• Handle exchanges with Main bank, Change Persons and F&B employees.
• Process payments: Slot Hopper Fills, Slot Jackpots, and cashing checks.
• Sell coins and redeem gaming chips and coupons.
• Transact Credit Card Advances and issue Markers.
• Operate Jet-Sort Machines for coin redemption.
• Record Title 31 transactions on MTLs, CTRs, CCTLs.
• Collect State and Federal Taxes.
• Other duties may be assigned.
