Job summary

Mesquite Gaming in Nevada is seeking a friendly, efficient Food Server to provide professional guest service in our restaurant and bars. You will inform guests of specials, answer questions on menu items and preparation, take orders and serve food and beverages.

The role requires excellent communication and teamwork in a busy casino environment. You must be at least 21 years old, fluent in English, and possess a Food Handler Card and an Alcohol Awareness Card.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be team oriented and able to work in a busy restaurant atmosphere.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current and accurate information regarding menu items and presentation.
• While taking orders, upsell appetizers, beverages, and desserts per service standards.
• Enter food into the POS system accurately for proper preparation.
• Deliver prepared food to guests and check satisfaction after service.
• Present check for payment, thank guests, and invite them back per scripting.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
