Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation in Las Vegas is seeking a friendly beverage server to greet guests and serve drinks in lounges, restaurants or gaming areas. You will circulate, take orders, and deliver beverages with a courteous attitude in a fast-paced casino environment.

Responsibilities include weighing and balancing trays, relaying orders to bartenders, computing charges, handling payments accurately, and providing complimentary beverages per policy.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Six months of related experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to walk for duration of shift.
• Ability to carry and balance trays weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve beverages to guests in lounges, restaurants or gaming areas in a friendly, courteous and timely manner.
• Circulate throughout assigned work station on a continuous basis, greeting guests in a friendly manner, taking beverage orders, and delivering beverages.
• Carry and balance full tray of beverages.
• Receive and understand beverage orders; relay drink orders to bartenders.
• Compute charges for orders and accept payment for same; maintain an accurate bank at all times.
• Provide complimentary beverages in accordance with company policy.
