Atlantic City, New Jersey-based MGM Resorts International is seeking a Casino Accounting Supervisor to protect gaming operations and oversee audit functions in line with Internal Controls and Gaming Control Board regulations. The role requires strong leadership and attention to detail to ensure compliant financial reporting and tax handling.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of accounting supervision experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work varied shifts, including

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays is Required.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit functions in accordance with Internal Controls and Gaming Control Board regulations.
• Establish audit procedures and review audit documentation as needed.
• Maintain source documents as required and secured document storage.
• Review and prepare journals and reports as required.
• Report and investigate exceptions under the System of Internal Control.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules for the General Ledger.
• Prepare gaming tax/license returns and pay taxes and license fees.
• Supervise and train audit/accounting personnel.
• Reconcile IRS Forms 1042S and W2G and related tax deposits.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Responsible for performing audit functions in accordance with the System of Internal Control and Gaming Control Board regulations
• Establish audit procedures and review audit documentation as needed
• Responsible for maintaining source documents as required
• Responsible for maintaining secured document storage
• Review and prepare journals and reports as required
• Report and investigate exceptions as required under the System of Internal Control
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules needed to record transactions in the General Ledger
• Prepare gaming tax/license returns and make proper payment of taxes and license fees
• Responsible for the supervision and training of audit/accounting personnel
• Responsible for the reconciliation of IRS Forms 1042S and W2G and for the related tax deposits

Pay Rate:

The rate for this role is:

$27.30

This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
