Job summary

IP Casino Resort Spa - Biloxi is seeking a restaurant service professional to greet guests, escort them to tables, and coordinate service to ensure fast and courteous dining. The role includes handling payments, maintaining records, and upholding cleanliness and safety standards.

Candidates will be expected to manage cash transactions, assist with guest inquiries, and support service staff to deliver a superior guest experience at the Biloxi location.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to their table.
• Accept payments from restaurant guests using a computerized cash register.
• Provide menus and inform guests of specials.
• Circulate and coordinate service staff to deliver fast, courteous service.
• Assign breaks for bus person and food servers.
• Inspect room cleanliness and compliance with safety/health codes.
• Resolve customer complaints or refer to restaurant manager.
• Maintain records of guests served, staff absences, or equipment issues.
• Operate cash register to itemize and process guest checks.
• Maintain an accurate bank at all times.

• Maintain records of number of guests served during shift, employee absences, or problems with equipment of food service.
• Operate computerized cash register to itemize and process guest checks in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain an accurate of bank at all times.
