Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Cashier in Michigan to deliver efficient, friendly checkout experiences and connect with customers in a fast-paced store environment.

You will use Meijer systems to complete transactions, handle cash, and provide accurate change while maintaining a welcoming, helpful demeanor. Training is provided to learn promotions and store programs, with opportunities for schedule flexibility and growth within the company.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do:

As a Cashier, you are the last touchpoint a customer has before leaving our store. You'll: Become knowledgeable on Meijer programs and promotions to best assist customers Create welcoming, memorable checkout experiences that leave a lasting impression Use Meijer systems to complete transactions efficiently and accurately Handle cash and payments responsibly, with attention to detail Communicate clearly and confidently, using friendly eye contact and positive body language Answer customer questions and help resolve concerns with care Build trust and connection that encourages customers to return Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly In short: you'll turn everyday moments into meaningful moments.

What You Bring:
