CASHIER/STOCK CLERK
A Cashier rings customer orders on a cash register, operates the checkstand belt, handles Electronic Benefit Transfers, coupons, cash and other forms of payment from customers according to store policy. Cashiers make pickups, perform fractional calculations quickly, and verbally communicate with customers. They balance the register and account for the receipts periodically during a shift and at the end of a shift. They stock product on shelves in various areas of the store. They perform routine cleaning and sweeping functions around the store, including restrooms. They collect shopping carts from the parking lot.
The above duties must be performed efficiently and courteously so as to insure maximum customer satisfaction.
