Job summary

GPM Investments is hiring a Cashier/Sales Associate at Store 3115 in Leland, NC. You will greet customers, ring up sales, and maintain a clean store environment.

Experience in retail or customer service is a plus, but on‑the‑job training is available. Responsibilities include handling the register, assisting customers with lottery, tobacco, and alcohol sales per legal requirements, upselling where possible, and keeping the store, pumps, and surrounding area clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred or learned on the job.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Basic math skills for transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
• Learn lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while adhering to age verification laws.
• Upsell products where appropriate to increase sales.
• Keep store clean and safe, including restrooms, pumps, and parking areas.
• Stock shelves and maintain a neat, organized store layout.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
