Job summary

Mollie Stone’s Market is seeking a part-time Apprentice Cashier at our Greenbrae location. The ideal candidate is customer service driven and flexible with performing various tasks daily.

Responsibilities include processing sales, scanning items, handling money, bagging groceries, and maintaining store cleanliness. Benefits include medical, dental/vision, and paid time off, with opportunities to learn and grow within the family-owned company.

About the Role:

Mollie Stone's Marketis seeking a part timeApprentice Cashier at our Greenbrae location.The perfect candidate will be customer service driven andflexible with working various tasks from day to day.

Essential Functions:

• Processing sales at the register.
• Scans items accurately and efficiently; ability to properly identify produce items.
• Handling money.
• Bag groceries for customers and provide carry out service if needed.
• Retrieve baskets and carts for store.
• Clean up and general housekeeping duties.
• Give exceptional customer service and assist customers with any questions they may have.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items; givecustomers direction toproduct locationthroughout the store.
• Restocking inventory, conduct price checks, take “return” products back to proper shelf locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Detailed oriented.
• Ability to give exceptional customer service.
• Abilityto learn new technology.
• A willingness to train/work in other areas of the store as needed.
• Available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evening, weekends, and some holidays.
• Local candidates only.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
• Standing: Up to 8 hours per day.
• Walking: Up to 6 hours per day.
• Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day.
• Please be aware that you may be required to wear Covid-19 related PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as mandated by Company Policy.

Pay range:

$20-$29.98/hour depending on industry experience
