Work Schedule

19.5 hours a week; hours are, Monday-Thursday, closing shift. Must be flexible schedule, shift will depend on department needs. May be required to work weekends during peak registration periods.

Job Summary

This position works in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is required. Process student payments, campus proceeds, and accesses a variety of charges to student accounts. Provides quality customer service to internal and external customers in-person and over the phone.

Essential Functions

60% - Provides customer service assistance to current and prospective students and staff over the phone and in-person
30% - Process a variety of payments such as, credit card, personal checks, money orders, and cash
10% - Provides general office support such as, document scanning, filing, and data entry. Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

1. Experience in customer service in person, and over the phone
2. Cash handling and multi-tasking, with the ability to research and interpret customer accounts
3. Experience working in a team-oriented setting, structured environment and remotely
4. Experience handling customer confidential information

Special Working Conditions

Position requires long hours of viewing a computer monitor and the ability to lift 25 pounds. This position will work remotely as well as in-person. Main Cashiers Office Tempe location, Rio Salado College-Tempe is located at 2323 W. 14 th Street, Tempe, AZ 85281.
