Job summary

Crown Ace Hardware is seeking a cashier/sales associate in California to deliver world-class customer service and support our mission of being the most helpful hardware store on the planet.

Responsibilities include driving sales through exceptional service, staying informed on promotions, executing daily store priorities, expanding product knowledge, maintaining merchandising standards, and escalating issues to management as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, willingness to learn.
• Ability to build customer relationships.
• Retail experience is a plus but training provided.

Job Description - Sales Associate/Cashier

Position Summary

The Sales Associate's primary responsibility is to drive sales by consistently providing our customers world class customer service which will support our mission of being "the most helpful hardware stores on the planet!"

Education/Training

High School diploma or GED equivalent, will train high school students.
Possess a willingness to learn.

Experience

Establishing relationships and working with customers.
Trade skills accompanied by a personality that will support our Core Values and mission is a plus but will train.

Skills/Knowledge

Knowledge of retail computer systems a plus.
Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.

Rate of Pay: $17.40-$17.90/hr depending on experience
