Job summary

Florida Fine Wine and Spirits, LLC is seeking a cashier to deliver fast, friendly service. You will process transactions, verify IDs, promote loyalty programs, and bag products while maintaining knowledge of promotions and store policies.

The role may include as-needed duties such as sales associate or merchandiser, with training in wine, spirits, and beer to build product knowledge and customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of work experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Physical ability to stand 8–10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately, including ID verification.
• Answer customer questions and promote the loyalty program.
• Provide fast, friendly service and bag merchandise.
• Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and compliance with alcohol sale laws.
• Assist with stock, merchandising, and store duties as needed.

About the role

As a Cashier, you play an essential role in the customer service experience by providing customers with fast and friendly service. You will process transactions, answer questions, and ensure customers leave feeling positive about their visit. While both part-time and full-time positions generally focus on being a cashier, you may also be assigned as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate. Internally, you will be referred to Front End Team Member and report to the store management team. You will Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, answering inquiries, promoting loyalty program, and bagging product Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned If this job posting is coded as a seasonal role above, you can expect this position to be short term, no longer than six months, and you will have the option to apply for a non-seasonal role.

Worker Type: Regular Pay Range: $14.05 - $19.66 Hourly
