Gizmo's Flea Market is seeking friendly, reliable cashiers to join our team. You will greet customers, process transactions, and help create a welcoming shopping experience at our busy checkout area.

We offer on-the-job training, a casual work environment, and the chance to grow with a rapidly expanding company. Our store operates seven days a week, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Prior cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic math and cash-handling abilities.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately.
• Answer customer questions and assist with locating products.
• Help vendors and customers with general inquiries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional checkout area.
• Balance cash drawer and ensure transaction accuracy.
• Assist with store opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support other team members and management with daily operations.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
