Goodwill of Monocacy Valley is seeking a store team member in Frederick, MD to lead an exceptional customer and brand experience. You will run registers, process payments, and promote sales for GCNA and its affiliates.

The role emphasizes greeting customers, maintaining the sales floor, stocking merchandise, and following safety and attendance policies while reflecting Goodwill Core Values.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent math skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions in English (verbal and written).
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operates POS and processes all forms of payments.
• Requests cash donations at POS from customers.
• Prices goods by merchandise type, markings, or leadership input.
• Completes closing procedures when needed.
• Maintains regular attendance and a welcoming store environment.
• Greets customers and thanks them as they leave the store.
• Maintains sales floor according to standards and stocks merchandise.
• Uses store systems, phones, and paging for announcements.
• Keeps environment clean and safe.
