Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a team member to lead a positive customer and brand experience at the Buckeye store.

You will handle POS transactions, promote donations, price goods, and maintain floor standards while forming a welcoming environment for customers. Regular attendance and teamwork are expected in this role.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent math skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions, both verbal and written, in English.
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Performs POS responsibilities and processes all forms of payments.
• Asks each customer for cash donations at POS.
• Establishes or identifies prices of goods via the type of merchandise, identifying markings, or asking for help from an on-site leader.
• Completes closing procedures, as necessary.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Greets customers that enter the store and thanks customers leaving the establishment.
• Maintains sales floor by following floorwork and PPM standards.
• Stocks merchandise in appropriate area as assigned.
