Job summary

Taziki's Café in Birmingham, AL is seeking friendly team members to join our fast-paced, guest-focused environment. You will assist guests, take orders, and ensure timely delivery of meals in-dining or for pickup.

No prior experience is required as we train you; a positive attitude, reliability, and a love for fresh food are valued. Flexible schedules, meal benefits, and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required; we will train you.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Energetic, eager to learn, and loves fresh food.
• Excellent hospitality and guest-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Ambassador to guests for our service, menu, story, and culture.
• Place orders for guests and deliver to dining or pickup areas.
• Understand and use POS (point of sale) system.
• Follow proper cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintain Health Department Standards throughout each shift.
• Follow Alcohol Handling policies and procedures.
• Perform shift-side work including opening and closing duties.

Responsibilities:

• Being a Taziki’s Ambassador to guests for our service, our menu, our story, and our culture
• Placing orders for guests and delivering them to our dining or pickup areas
• Understanding and using POS (point of sale register)
• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
• Performing shift-side work including opening and closing duties

Your Working Conditions/ Hours:

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 9am - 4pm
• Evenings - 4pm - 10pm
• Weekends- when applicable

Holidays - when applicable (CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas)

• Hours will vary by store.

Your Physical Requirements:

• Walking/ standing for extended periods
