Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Cashier to deliver quality customer experiences at the checkout, using Meijer systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently, while ensuring a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for every customer.

You will be the last touchpoint before customers leave, offering help, promoting promotions, and building trust to encourage repeat visits. No prior experience required, but helpful; 18+ and able to perform physical tasks as needed.

What You Bring:

• You're 18 years of age or older
• You enjoy working with people and providing great service
• You're comfortable learning and using technology
• You listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized
• You're dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to help
• Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods
